Overview
Honigman was formed as a corporate law firm 75 years ago. The firm was built on a work ethic commensurate with the times and an unwavering commitment to excellence. At that time, most of the firm’s clients were based in and around Detroit, Michigan, the automobile capital of the world.
Today, we enjoy a diverse corporate practice encompassing the wide array of skillsets necessary to help enterprises and their constituents thrive, and we serve clients around the globe. But, from acquisitions and securities, to tax and employee benefits and all other disciplines in between, two constants have remained throughout our history: our dedication to hard work and our unwavering commitment to excellence. These principles drive us.
This is what “commitment to excellence” means to us:
- We treat our clients as valued business partners and invest in learning their business
- We are problem solvers
- We communicate timely and concisely
- We do not “over lawyer” projects
- We ensure direct partner access and accountability at all times
- We are innovative and continually strive to drive efficiency
- We understand that we are representatives of our clients and we act with appropriate respect when dealing with third parties on their behalf
- We strive to deliver the highest quality of legal services at a superior value
A substantial number of our 140 corporate attorneys are devoted to Mergers & Acquisitions, including Private Equity.
