Jordan K. Schwartz

Jordan is a partner and member of the firm’s corporate and mergers and acquisitions groups. He represents clients in a wide array of mergers and acquisitions transactions, equity and debt financing transactions, recapitalizations and joint ventures.  

Jordan executes these transactions on behalf of private companies, public companies, private equity funds, family offices, independent sponsors and their portfolio companies. He has been involved in closing transactions ranging in value from hundreds of thousands of dollars to over $1 billion encompassing a range of industries, including manufacturing, industrial, automotive, business and professional services, food and beverage, retail, and information technology. This includes several international transactions involving companies with operations in Canada, India, the U.K., Mexico, among many other countries.

Jordan also advises a variety of businesses, including private equity portfolio companies, on complex legal matters and a wide range of day-to-day issues, including governance, capital raising and financing, securities matters, regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, succession planning, and other operational matters. Working closely with attorneys in the tax, litigation, intellectual property, real estate, environmental, and finance groups, Jordan also facilitates transactions and matters involving these practice areas.

In addition to his deep M&A experience, Jordan has significant experience advising startups and VC-backed companies at all stages of growth on corporate, securities and financing matters.
