Overview

Sarah Bishara counsels clients on their full range of commercial real estate transactions, including commercial dispositions and acquisitions, financings and leasing matters.  She represents multifamily, retail, and office developers and operators and also has significant experience advising clients on the real estate aspects of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across a broad array of industries, including healthcare, consumer products, professional and financial services and manufacturing.  As a collaborative and pragmatic problem solver, Sarah works closely with clients to understand their key business needs.

  • Assisted with representation of a foreign investor in the acquisition of a large New York City luxury hotel through a joint venture structure together with acquisition and construction financing
  • Aided in the representation of a developer of a master planned community in Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Assisted with securities law matters in connection with the $8.5 billion merger of two publicly traded pharmaceutical companies 
  • Aided in the representation of a private equity firm in a $1.3 billion cross-border acquisition financing and subsequent restructuring
