Overview

Meghan Covino focuses her practice on employment-based immigration. She successfully represents national and international companies in obtaining authorization for employees to work temporarily and permanently in the United States. Meghan currently serves as the Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association - Michigan Chapter.

  • Manages the PERM labor certification process on behalf of companies
  • Advises clients on Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance, providing training and internal audit assistance  
  • Successfully obtains H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, TN, E-2, B-1, O-1, and other non-immigrant statuses
  • Provides internal training on immigration basics to help clients understand complex immigration concepts
  • Counsels clients in a diverse range of industries, including automotive, engineering, financial services, academic, and information technology
  • Advises clients on immigration challenges relating to corporate restructuring, including mergers and acquisitions
