Honigman Advises Reed Minerals on Acquisition of U.S. Minerals, Inc.

Honigman represented Reed Minerals, LLC (Reed), a portfolio company of Speyside Equity and leading producer and distributor of performance materials and mineral abrasives, in its acquisition of U.S. Minerals, Inc. (USM), a leading producer and distributor of mineral abrasives used in roofing, abrasive blasting media, and other industrial applications. This strategic acquisition expands Reed’s geographic footprint, product capabilities, and ability to serve customers across North America, creating a more robust platform for further domestic and international growth.

The Honigman deal team was led by Corporate Partners Eric Jones and Jeremy Scherlinck and Associates Sherwin Shushtari, Moshe Gottesfeld, and Collin Place. The transaction was also supported by Finance Partners Kimberly Dudek and David Axelson along with Associates Chase Yarber and Kylie Slinkman-Densmore.
