Danielle Bass is a corporate attorney who focuses her practice on transactional matters involving information technology, intellectual property, and media with an emphasis on commercial transactions. Danielle frequently drafts and negotiates various agreements regarding the development, licensing, and/or transfer of trademarks, copyrights, software, or other technology, including software and cloud services licensing, technology outsourcing, and other matters involving the licensing, sale, procurement, and commercialization of intellectual property and technology. In addition, Danielle advises clients on information technology and intellectual property components of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Danielle is also a member of the Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Industry Group. She also counsels clients on matters involving data privacy and security, including cybersecurity, across a number of industries. Danielle regularly advises clients in the automotive, logistics, financial, real estate, media, electronics, information technology, and healthcare sectors.

  • Represented a private equity fund in the financing of their acquisition of a pallet supply company
  • Represented a private equity fund in the financing of their acquisition of a manufacturer and distributor of outdoor sports products
  • Represented a public company in the negotiation of a $500 million syndicated credit facility
  • Represented a Michigan development company in the construction, development, and management of multiple retirement communities and financing thereof
  • Served as Michigan local counsel on multiple secured and unsecured debt facilities
  • Counseled several technology companies in their technology-based products and services contracts
  • Served as research assistant to former Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly
