Overview
Kasturi Bagchi manages risks for clients in loan, real estate, and other asset-based transactions. Having closed transactions from the perspective of a purchaser, seller, borrower, or a lender, she quickly navigates through deals, spots issues, and resolves problems to close on time and efficiently.
She also counsels lenders on mortgage loans, note purchases, and note financings designed to help distressed borrowers avoid foreclosure. Kas has successfully closed over $600 million in Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA) and Freddie Mac loans on behalf of borrowers.
Additionally, Kas has authored articles published in Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly, Commercial Investment Real Estate, and Medical Law Report.
