Anessa Owen Kramer joins Honigman’s Intellectual Property Practice Group

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman) is pleased to announce that Anessa Owen Kramer has joined the firm as a Partner in its Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group of its Corporate and Securities Department. Honigman’s IP practice has grown significantly in recent years, as Kramer is the 15th attorney to be added in the past two years, bringing the total to 25.

Kramer concentrates her practice on the availability and protection of trademarks; managing and prosecuting large international trademark portfolios; enforcing and litigating trademark actions; handling domain name issues; and providing advice relating to advertising and marketing.

She was recognized as one of 25 “Leaders in the Law” in 2010 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly and was named as one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ “40 under 40” business leaders in 2007. She is admitted to practice law in Michigan, the District of Columbia, Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Kramer earned a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, with honors, and a B.A., with honors, from Michigan State University.

She comes to Honigman from Brooks Kushman P.C.
