Aaron concentrates his practice in the financial services industry, representing national, regional, and community lenders in real estate and asset-based financing, with an emphasis on syndicated and participated loans. In addition, Aaron is transaction counsel for credit unions acquiring bank branches and “whole banks.”

Aaron frequently advises clients on corporate and real estate transactions, including commercial real estate sales, acquisitions, development, leasing, mergers and acquisitions and general business planning.

In addition to his transactional experience, Aaron also advises his business clients on the importance of succession and estate planning.

Aaron has handled numerous complex lending and financial services transactions for banks, credit unions and non-traditional lenders across the United States. Aaron also counsels closely held businesses, including real estate developers, family offices and independent sponsors.

  • Counsel to multiple state and federal Credit Unions acquiring bank branches including deposits and real estate
  • Counsel to multiple state and federal Credit Unions in “whole-bank” acquisitions, both via merger and purchase and assumption
  • Lead counsel representing commercial real estate lenders in acquisition and construction loans
  • Lead counsel representing commercial lenders in asset based lending transactions, lines of credit and other financial transactions
  • Corporate counsel to a 3D printing company with respect to Series A investment by international aerospace client
  • Led negotiation and oversight for multimillion-dollar sale of majority interest in two companies, including drafting of contribution agreement, operating agreements, non-competition agreements, consulting agreement, assignment documents, and other corporate documentation
