Honigman Advises AOD Federal Credit Union in Purchase of Merchants & Farmers Branch

Honigman advised AOD Federal Credit Union as it purchased a branch of Merchants & Farmers Bank of Greene County in Prattville, Alabama.
AOD will also acquire most of the branch’s deposit and loan accounts. The deposits and loans transferring from Merchants & Farmers Bank to AOD FCU total about $15 million and $10 million, respectively.
The transaction is anticipated to close at the end of Q4 2025 and is subject to customary closing conditions, along with approval by the applicable regulatory authorities.
