Overview

LaZaurea Williams is an attorney in the Labor Practice Group of the firm’s Labor and Employment Department. Her practice focuses on supporting employers across the life cycle of employment relationships, with an emphasis on risk-sensitive disputes and litigation-adjacent counseling.

Drawing on a litigation-oriented background, LaZaurea assists with wage and hour matters, employment separation and release agreements, administrative position statements, discovery, and motion practice. She has experience assessing contracts and indemnification provisions and applies that same structured, issue-spotting approach to evaluating exposure, framing defenses, and positioning employment disputes for efficient resolution.

Before joining the firm, LaZaurea practiced in commercial litigation, insurance defense, and public interest settings, where she drafted pleadings and discovery, conducted regulatory research, and worked directly with clients to develop case strategies. Her experience spans premises liability and auto accident disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and other contested matters, giving her a practical understanding of how facts, documents, and advocacy interact in both negotiations and the courtroom.
