Honigman Advises Kinepolis Group on Acquisition of Emagine Entertainment

Honigman recently advised Kinepolis Group, a cinema operator, on its acquisition of Emagine Entertainment, an American movie theater chain. The transaction adds 14 cinemas to Kinepolis’ U.S. portfolio, bringing its total to 177 screens and approximately 18,000 seats across Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

This strategic acquisition accelerates Kinepolis’ U.S. growth strategy, strengthens its premium cinema offering, and enhances its ability to deliver a differentiated, high-quality entertainment experience to moviegoers across its newly expanded network.
