Honigman Welcomes Two Labor Attorneys to Chicago Office
CHICAGO- Honigman LLP announced today that Mary Kathryn Curry and Jennifer “Ginger” Partee have joined the firm as partners in the Labor and Employment Department in Chicago. Their arrival marks the ninth and tenth partner additions to Honigman’s Chicago office this year, underscoring the firm’s continued growth in the market.
“Mary Kathryn and Ginger bring a level of sophistication and rigor that will significantly strengthen our Labor and Employment Department as we expand in Chicago,” said Sean F. An experienced labor and employment attorney, Curry’s practice focuses on labor and employment counseling and compliance, working directly with client human resources teams to ensure compliance with laws governing the workplace. She has extensive experience in a wide range of industries and supports her clients in all matters relating to workforce planning, outsourcing, diversity and inclusion programs, workplace policies and training materials, including large-scale workforce audits, corporate compliance, as well as investigations, including with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
Ranked ‘Band 2’ in Immigration by Chambers USA 2025 and recommended by Legal 500, Partee advises companies on employment-based immigration matters, from hiring key talent, to navigating worksite investigations, to conducting M&A due diligence, and executing post-acquisition immigration plans. She has in-depth experience handling immigration matters for corporate executives, engineering and IT professionals, and consultants. Partee holds broad knowledge of immigration requirements for short and long-term assignments across countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Her experience spans Fortune 500 companies across biotech, IT industries, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and more.

Curry earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Iowa. Partee earned her J.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law and her B.A from DePauw University.
