Renee Naylor is an experienced real estate attorney who focuses her practice on the acquisition, disposition, management and financing of commercial real estate assets, predominantly in the hospitality and lodging industry. Ms. Naylor counsels clients in complex real estate transactions, as well as in their day-to-day operations. Ms. Naylor leads the firm’s hospitality practice. In over a decade of practice, Ms. Naylor has advised clients in billions of dollars of transactions, both single-asset and portfolio wide. Clients praise her responsiveness and attentiveness to their business needs, all while delivering the highest quality legal advice.

Representative transactions include: 

  • Represented a private REIT in the acquisition and financing of over 20 branded and independent hotels across 10 states for an aggregate value of over $500 million
  • Represented an investment firm in connection with a joint venture for the acquisition and financing of Marriott and Hilton franchised hotels
  • Represented a hotel manager in the negotiation of hotel management agreements for a 15-property portfolio for a total of over 1,900 guest rooms
  • Represented a public REIT in a $157 million disposition of hotel in San Francisco, California
  • Represented a public REIT in a $270 million entity-level acquisition of Florida resort
  • Represented a private REIT in a $32 million acquisition of Florida resort out of receivership
