Susanna Brennan

Susanna Brennan is the firm’s Director of Attorney Recruitment, where she partners with firm leadership to identify and attract lateral partners, shape recruitment strategies aligned with strategic priorities, and oversee associate, professional track, and summer associate hiring to ensure consistent, firmwide execution of attorney recruitment goals.

A licensed attorney and certified human resources professional (PHR), Susanna brings more than 15 years of experience across law firms, corporate legal departments, and professional services organizations. Prior to joining Honigman, she led attorney recruiting initiatives at a sophisticated Midwest firm and held human resources and talent acquisition roles at a Fortune 10 manufacturing company, where she supported the global legal organization’s development, engagement, and onboarding efforts. Earlier in her career, she practiced law and worked as a senior legal recruiter for a global staffing company, providing her with a well‑rounded perspective on the legal talent lifecycle.

Susanna is an engaged member of the legal talent community. She is active in the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), the Chicago Association of Legal Personnel Administrators (CALPA), and the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC). She is also committed to community involvement and educational advocacy through volunteer leadership roles in Michigan public schools.
