Overview

Sharif Asad is a patent agent in the Intellectual Property Department. He supports attorneys and clients in patent preparation, prosecution, and other patent-related matters in the chemical and life sciences practice areas. Before entering the patent field, he worked as a medicinal chemist in small molecule drug discovery industry, where he contributed to projects in various oncology and autoimmune disease indications. He has published multiple research articles and is a named inventor on several granted patents and pending patent applications.
