Overview
Rob Humphries is an experienced corporate and transactional lawyer specializing in the structure, formation and ongoing operation of captive insurance companies and alternative risk financing vehicles. Rob regularly advises captives and their owners on licensing and regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), bankruptcies, reorganizations, and the structure and operation of group captive insurance companies.
Rob also has a wealth of experience in general corporate and commercial work including M&A, joint ventures and general commercial transactions within the insurance, investment funds and broader financial services industry where he draws on his considerable onshore and offshore experience.
Additionally, Rob has served on numerous industry bodies and committees and regularly presents at industry events and conferences.
