Overview

Nathan Richardson is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group, where he focuses on antitrust litigation, government investigations, and complex commercial litigation. With extensive experience in both domestic and international jurisdictions, Nate deftly navigates complex commercial, antitrust, tort, and contract claims, as well as regulatory matters involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

Nate represents a diverse array of clients in complex commercial and antitrust litigation across a broad range of industries, including health care, financial services, automotive, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining the firm, Nate gained significant experience at international law firms in New York and Washington, D.C., where he litigated and managed complex commercial, antitrust, and white-collar litigations and internal investigations.

Nate’s matters have included:

  • Representation of a leading pharmacy benefit manager in responding to multiple non-public FTC investigations and 6(b) studies.
  • Representation of former shareholders in litigation against a major drug manufacturer alleging the manufacturer stalled the development and commercialization of multiple sclerosis and rare disease drugs to reduce the value of CVRs acquired in an acquisition.
  • Representation of multinational investment bank and individual traders across multiple class action litigations alleging anticompetitive practices in various foreign exchange, precious metals, and stock lending markets.
  • Representation of former hedge fund management COO in arbitration against a major hedge fund in a case alleging breach of restrictive covenants.
  • Representation of two nonprofit, tax-exempt hospitals in an antitrust litigation against a national provider practice group.

Before practicing law, Nate served as an officer in the U.S. Army, where he developed leadership and problem-solving skills that inform his approach to client advocacy today.
