Overview

Jonathan H. Schwartz is a Partner at Honigman LLP whose practice spans high-stakes commercial litigation, supply chain and complex contract matters, and media and entertainment disputes and transactions. He represents clients in state and federal courts across the United States and advises on sensitive, business-critical matters where operational continuity, reputation, intellectual property, and constitutional interests may be at risk.

Jonathan litigates and resolves complex disputes involving commercial contracts, employment and restrictive covenants, trade secrets and confidential information, real estate and property claims, business breakups, and related business torts. He is also trusted to draft, negotiate, and enforce sophisticated agreements in support of business formation, growth, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and asset sales—bringing a practical, litigation-informed approach to risk allocation and deal execution.

His clients include entrepreneurs, multinational companies, fast-growing technology start-ups, prominent executives, artists and musicians, and mission-driven nonprofit organizations. In addition to courtroom advocacy, Jonathan is known for efficiently driving outcomes through targeted motion practice, emergency relief when necessary, and disciplined negotiation—always focused on the client’s priorities and the realities of business.
