Overview
Cecilia Rambarat is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department. She regularly advises clients on pharmaceutical, biologics, medical devices, and chemical intellectual property matters, particularly patent litigation, trade secret litigation, strategic development of global patent portfolios, and patent prosecution strategies.
As a Registered Patent Attorney with a background in Chemistry, Cecilia concentrates her practice on patent disputes in federal courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Cecilia’s technical prowess and significant experience with patent prosecution gives her a unique understanding of the legal issues faced by clients during patent disputes.
Clients also turn to Cecilia for help with global patent and lifecycle management strategies. Cecilia maintains an active patent prosecution practice and has assisted in rendering opinions relating to the infringement, validity, and enforceability of patents. She regularly works with numerous companies to maximize the value and exclusivity of their products and to build a profitable IP portfolio.
Cecilia has also provided pro bono representation of a number of individuals seeking asylum before the immigration court.
