Overview

Aaron Bray is an experienced intellectual property attorney specializing in patent litigation. Bringing his scientific background to bear on complex legal questions, he has counseled and advocated for clients involved in a wide array of cutting-edge technologies, including consumer electronics, biotechnology and genetic engineering platforms, programmable logic devices, database and enterprise analytics software, cloud computing and virtualization software, and medical devices.

Aaron has represented clients in the Northern District of California, the District of Delaware, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He has experience across all phases of litigation, from pre-filing investigations through trial, including drafting briefs, managing fact and expert discovery, and developing case strategy.

Aaron is committed to pro bono work, including immigrants’ and reproductive rights.

Aaron was previously a litigator at Morrison & Foerster. Prior to earning his J.D. at Stanford, he received his Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Harvard and his B.S. in Astronomy & Physics from Yale, cum laude, with departmental honors.
