Two Corporate Partners Join Honigman’s Chicago Office
Honigman LLP is pleased to announce that Eric J. Buske and Garrett A. Lorentz have joined the Corporate department as a partners in the firm’s Chicago office.
Buske focuses his practice on advising private equity funds and public and private companies on complex business transactions, including strategic and leveraged acquisitions and divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, recapitalizations and restructurings, and other corporate counseling matters. Eric began his career at Kirkland & Ellis before spending time at Athletico Physical Therapy and Koley Jessen. He earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis, and his B.S. from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Lorentz has experience representing private equity sponsors as well as public and private corporate clients in a variety of industries. He focuses his practice on complex business transactions, including structuring and negotiating strategic and leveraged acquisitions and divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings, and general corporate counseling and compliance. Prior to joining Honigman, he worked for Kirkland & Ellis. Garrett earned his J.D., cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law, and his B.B.A. from University of Miami.
