Honigman's Librarian Leanna Simon Recognized as Emerging Leader of the Year by American Association of Law Libraries
Honigman is pleased to announce that Leanna R. Simon, the firm’s Reference Librarian, has been named Emerging Leader of the Year by the Private Law Librarians and Information Professionals (PLLIP) section of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). This award recognizes nominees with a record of outstanding service and significant contribution to PLLIP and their organization as well as showing outstanding potential for continued service and leadership within PLLIP and the profession.
This is the second consecutive year Leanna has received an Emerging Leader award. While she received the AALL Emerging Leader of the Year Award in 2017, this year’s PLLIP Emerging Leader of the Year Award means she was recognized specifically for her work as a law firm librarian by other law firm librarians. Leanna is only the second person to receive both awards.
Presentation of the award will be at the AALL Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD in July 2018.
