Andrea Hansen Named an Influential Woman of Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

Andrea Hansen, Partner and Chair of Honigman’s Regulatory Department, was recently named as one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Influential Women of Law. This award celebrates exceptional women who are leaving a meaningful impact on Michigan’s legal profession and communities. Awardees are selected for their exemplary practices, commitment to mentoring, and devotion to improving the justice system.

As the one and only female gaming lawyer in private practice in Michigan, Andrea has been intimately involved in the gaming industry since its inception. Her practice also extends to elections, as she’s been involved in several statewide ballot initiatives and is often engaged to challenge such initiatives off the ballot altogether. Andrea is also a trusted mentor to young female attorneys not only in Honigman’s Lansing office, but across the entire firm.
