Every year, Michigan Lawyers Weekly holds its annual ‘Unsung Legal Heroes’ awards, which honors firm employees who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, usually behind the scenes.

Honigman’s Everett Davis, matter mobility coordinator and Mary Owiesny, legal secretary coordinator, were recognized among this year’s honorees – a list that Michigan Lawyers Weekly says includes state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals.

Everett Davis, who began his journey with Honigman over two decades ago, was recognized for his reputation of having a reliable work ethic, as well as his attention to detail, pleasant demeanor, professionalism, and sound judgement.

Mary Owiesny, legal secretary coordinator, who has been with Honigman for 40 years, was recognized for her unwavering dedication, excellent interpersonal skills, high bar for professionalism, and true embodiment of the firm’s values.
