Honigman Represents Shoulder Innovations, Inc. on Strategic Partnership with Interventional Systems to Unveil a Robotic Platform for Shoulder Arthroplasty
Honigman recently advised Shoulder Innovations, Inc., a commercial-stage medical technology company, on a strategic partnership with Interventional Systems (INS), a developer of robotic solutions for minimally invasive surgery. Together, the two companies unveiled a groundbreaking shoulder-specific micro-robotic solution that enriches surgical precision and thus brings innovative clinical approaches to shoulder arthroplasty and reverse shoulder arthroplasty procedures.
The new robotic innovation will deliver immense value and meet the needs of patients and surgeons, particularly as it relates to ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). It will also help address the many challenges that come with with robotic surgery, such as high implementation costs, difficult mobility, costly perioperative inefficiencies, and steep technical learning curves.
A Honigman Corporate team led by Partner Danielle F. Bass, with the assistance of Annie L. Dreisbach, advised Shoulder Innovations on the matter.
