Honigman Adds Partner to Litigation Practice

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce Mohamed Awan joins the firm as partner in the Complex Commercial Litigation and Private Equity Litigation practices. Awan focuses his practice on a broad spectrum of commercial matters including securities, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust, contract disputes, shareholder derivative suits, and SEC enforcement actions.

Awan joins in the Detroit office of Honigman from Kirkland & Ellis in New York City. He previously served as a law clerk for the Hon. Lawrence P. Zatkoff, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Fluent in Arabic, Awan earned his J.D., cum laude, from the American University of Washington College of Law where he was on staff at the National Security Law Brief. He earned his B.B.A. in finance from the University of Michigan.
