Honigman Welcomes Corporate Partner in Chicago Office
Honigman LLP is pleased to announce that Erin E. Broderick has joined the Corporate department as a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. She represents diverse stakeholders in a variety of distress-related transactions and litigation, with a focus on representation of private equity sponsors. Her broad-based practice allows her to effectively represent clients through all stages and interrelated aspects of a distress situation.
Erin has particular experience in cross-border matters and was recognized as a top “40 under 40” restructuring attorney in the world by the Global Restructuring Review in 2016. “Erin brings a wealth of cross-border restructuring experience and has served as US counsel in proceedings based in Japan, England, Australia, Spain, Mexico, and several other countries,” said Don Kunz, chair of Honigman’s Corporate department. “Our Chicago office continues to attract experienced attorneys, and we are pleased Erin selected Honigman to expand her practice.”
Erin began her career at Kirkland & Ellis before joining Baker McKenzie. She most recently led deal origination efforts for a special situations private equity firm. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, and her B.S., summa cum laude, from Central Michigan University.
