Honigman attorney Samuel T. Stahl to speak at M&A Conference on Hot Transaction

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman) is pleased to announce that Samuel Stahl, a Partner and Chair of the firm’s Private Equity and Venture Capital practice group, will be a featured panelist at the Association for Corporate Growth’s Third Annual M&A Conference on June 2, 2009 at the Detroit Athletic Club. Stahl will serve on a panel addressing “Completing Transactions in the Hot Sector.” Other panel members are Phil Gilbert, President & Managing Director of P & M Corporate Finance; Demian Kircher, Managing Director, Maranon; and Moderator David Reynolds, Vice President & CFO, Huron Capital Partners. The panel will discuss successful M&A activity in today’s economy.

In his law practice, Stahl assists private equity groups, investors and other business clients in a wide range of matters throughout the Untied States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Far East, including corporate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial transactions and other corporate activities. He was designated as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in 2008 and 2009 and listed as a highly recommended M&A attorney in “Legal 500 United States 2008.”

Stahl is a member of the Corporate and Business Law Sections for the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. He also is a magna cum laude and an Order of the Coif with high honors graduate of the Wayne State University Law School.
