Linda Wasserman Named to Crain’s Notable Women Lawyers List

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce partner Linda Wasserman was named to the inaugural list of Notable Women Lawyers in Michigan by Crain’s Detroit Business. The list recognizes lawyers who are considered leaders in their workplaces and communities.

Wasserman focuses her practice on estate planning and nonprofit law. She is experienced in estate and wealth succession planning for ultra-high and high-net-worth individuals and families. She is a member of Honigman’s Board of Directors and serves on the firm’s Committee on Minority Attorney Initiatives. Wasserman previously served as chair of the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice group for more than 10 years.

Wasserman’s dedication to community service has spanned her entire career. She currently serves the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as chair of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee, and serves on the boards of the Beaumont Health Foundation and the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. Wasserman has served on or chaired dozens of committees and task forces for local charitable organizations. In the Detroit area, she has worked with several nonprofits to create and successfully manage endowment and planned giving programs.

Wasserman is also an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan Law School teaching Trusts and Estates, and Estate Planning and Charitable Planning.
