Brandy Bruyere joins Honigman Corporate Department

Honigman LLP is pleased to announce Brandy Bruyere has joined its Corporate Department as a Partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office. Bruyere focuses her practice on counseling credit unions on consumer financial services laws, regulations, guidance, and public policies. Her advisement includes TILA/Regulation Z, ECOA/Regulation B, Gramm-Leach-Bliley/Regulation P, UDAAP, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Military Lending Act, Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, NCUA regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act. Bruyere is a frequent author and contributor to articles and blogs on hot topics informing credit unions to regulatory developments, emerging compliance risks, and exam trends.

Bruyere joins Honigman from the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) where she served as Vice President of Regulatory Compliance. She earned her J.D. from University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, and her B.A. from American University.
