Honigman Elevates Fourteen Attorneys to Partner

Honigman LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s board of directors has elected the following fourteen attorneys as partners, effective January 1, 2021. 

Alex F. Bowman (Detroit) is a member of the Corporate department. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, business formation, financing transactions, and general corporate matters. Bowman earned his J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School. 

Andrew S. Chipouras (Kalamazoo) is a member of the Intellectual Property department. He practices in all areas of patent law, with a focus on preparing and prosecuting patent applications.  Chipouras earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School.   

Ian J. Cosgrove (Detroit) is a member of the Real Estate department. He focuses his practice on construction planning, commercial development, and office and retail leasing. Cosgrove earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School. 

Rian C. Dawson (Detroit) is a member of the Litigation department. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, commercial transactions, securities and corporate governance and restructuring and insolvency.  Dawson earned her J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.     

Andrew P. Fluegge (Detroit) is a member of the Corporate department. He advises private equity sponsors on a wide range of transactions, including mergers, assets and stock acquisitions and divestitures, growth equity investments and other corporate matters. Fluegge earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.    

Shirin S. Goyal (Detroit) is a member of the Litigation department. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, class actions, internal investigations, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission examinations. Goyal earned her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.  

Rama M. Jawad (Detroit) is a member of the Corporate department. She advises private equity sponsors on a wide range of transactions, including mergers, asset and stock acquisitions and divestitures, and other corporate matters.  Jawad earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.    

Emily J. Johns (Grand Rapids) is a member of the Corporate department. She focuses her practice on securities and corporate governance. Johns earned her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. 

Vincent C. Lucchese (Chicago) is a member of the Corporate department. He focuses his practice on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, health care transactions, and general corporate matters.  Lucchese earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School.    

Jennifer L. Muse (Detroit) is a member of the Labor and Employment department. She focuses her practice on employment counseling and strategic workforce planning, employment litigation, and wage and hour matters. Muse earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. 

Rachel Myung (Detroit) is a member of the Corporate department. She focuses her practice on private equity and securities and corporate governance. Myung earned her J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School. 

Andrew T. Schmid (Grand Rapids) is a member of the Intellectual Property department. He focuses his practice on worldwide patent procurement. Schmid earned his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. 

Brian D. Towne (Detroit) is a member of the Corporate department. He focuses his practice on private equity, finance, commercial transactions, and restructuring and insolvency. Towne earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. 

Angela G. Williams (Chicago) is a member of the Real Estate department. She focuses her practice on general real estate matters, with emphasis on commercial, industrial, and office building property types. Williams earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
