Mark Pendery is an experienced litigator who began his legal career with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) handling high-profile cases in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Justice. He focuses his practice on complex business and tax matters and represents clients in both federal and state courts in proceedings involving the IRS and various local tax agencies. His clients cover a wide range of industries, such as manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture.

  • Successfully handles business disputes, contract disputes, shareholder attacks, and complex financial and valuation issues
  • Guides clients through IRS and state audits and prepares administrative claims and objections

  • Represented a Fortune 100 client in a state's use tax case, resulting in a refund of approximately $20 million
