Overview

Larry Lichtman is a member of the firm’s Commercial Transactions Practice Group.  He primarily focuses his practice on complex commercial transactions and supply chain issues and disputes, across a range of industries and business sectors.  He regularly represents both buyers and sellers of goods and services, with respect to supply agreements, service agreements and similar and related agreements. 

Larry also has significant experience and expertise in representing debtor companies and creditors in Chapter 11 reorganization cases and out-of-court restructurings throughout the U.S. 

He has extensive experience in  automotive insolvency matters involving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.  He advises on lender forbearance arrangements, customer accommodation agreements, customer resourcing, sales and acquisitions (including Bankruptcy Code Section 363 sales), and financing transactions.

Representative Matters

  • Significant experience in complex commercial transactions, representing both buyers and sellers in the negotiation and drafting of supply contracts and analysis and advice relating to the maintenance of supply relationships and the resolution of supply chain disputes
  • Broad-based automotive experience in supply chain issues involving OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and vendors. Extensive transactional experience, including lender forbearance arrangements, customer accommodation agreements, customer resourcing, sales and acquisitions (including Bankruptcy Code Section 363 sales), and financing transactions
  • Acts as external general counsel to Tier 1 suppliers
  • Extensive experience in representing creditors and debtors in commercial bankruptcy cases, out-of-court restructurings and various commercial disputes and bankruptcy litigation
