Overview

Ken Vermeulen is a partner in Honigman's real estate department, with a primary focus on environmental law. He has extensive experience in a variety of environmental real estate matters and focuses his practice on leasing, construction contracting, and environmental law matters.

  • Represents clients on a variety of environmental matters, including investigation and remediation of contaminated sites throughout the country
  • Represents solid waste disposal facilities, including landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities
  • Handles acquisition and divestiture due diligence
  • Provides advice regarding compliance and permitting under state and federal environmental statutes and regulations
  • Counsels on brownfield development projects and transactions
  • Represents clients on commercial leasing matters and zoning issues
