Overview

Bea Swedlow is an experienced litigator who represents clients in significant intellectual property matters resulting in favorable outcomes. Her practice includes patent, copyright, and trademark law.

  • Represents clients in many industries, including the auto, retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, media, entertainment, and pharmaceutical industries
  • Counsels clients in media and entertainment law, as well as business litigation
  • Extensive experience in litigating cases involving noncompetition agreements, nonsolicitation agreements, and misappropriation of trade secrets 

Bea has been admitted as a Fellow at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and she serves on the Board of Directors of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

  • Obtained favorable outcome for a pharmaceutical company in a false advertising case
  • Successfully defended major film/television studio in copyright infringement lawsuit
  • Obtained dismissal of copyright lawsuit for music publisher
