  • Devises strategies for protecting and developing intellectual property assets
  • Prepares and prosecutes domestic and foreign patent applications in a wide range of mechanical and electromechanical technologies, including medical devices, automotive components and control systems, industrial equipment, consumer electronics, and athletic equipment
  • Reviews competitive landscapes to identify potential infringers
  • Advises on freedom-to-operate issues for new products and services, including collaborative design-around counseling
  • Performs due diligence reviews of intellectual property portfolios

Prior to becoming an attorney, Brandon spent five years in various engineering and supply management roles with a large Tier 1 automotive supplier, where he learned first-hand the real world challenges facing today’s businesses. Today, while striving to understand his clients’ goals and expectations, Brandon’s diverse skill set and experience in both the procurement and transactional fields allow him to see the bigger picture and, as a result, better serve those goals and expectations.
