Overview
Alexis Reed is the firm’s Director of Lateral Attorney Recruitment and Integration. Ms. Reed has 15 years of experience in attorney recruitment, derived in both the law firm and search firm settings and as a practicing attorney. She leads the firm's attorney hiring and integration efforts across all offices and departments. Ms. Reed partners with firm leadership to create and execute on best practices for identifying, hiring, and retaining lateral attorneys.
Her role includes leading the firm’s lateral partner integration program, working closely with all new lateral partners to ensure their success and continued growth and development. Ms. Reed is also responsible for creating and implementing innovative hiring practices and interviewing best practices, as well as identifying and executing on recruiting for alternative staffing models.
Prior to joining Honigman, Ms. Reed founded her own legal recruiting and consulting company, Reed Recruiting, LLC, where she partnered with leading Am Law international and national law firms on lateral attorney recruitment and placement, and consulted on implementing best practices in lateral search strategy and lateral partner integration. Ms. Reed also spent nearly ten years leading lateral attorney hiring and integration efforts at Jenner & Block LLP and Clark Hill, PLC.
