Michael Lisi advises clients in intellectual property and technology matters. He leads the trademark and copyright practice areas for the firm. His practice includes:
Litigation
: policing, enforcement and defense of trademark, trade dress, trade secret, patent and persona rights, in the U.S. and in foreign markets, through all phases from investigation, pre-litigation enforcement, civil and criminal litigation, administrative proceedings (including Customs, oppositions and cancellations), alternative dispute resolution (including Uniform Dispute Resolution Proceedings or UDRP), appeals, and collection of judgments. Cited as “Law Firm on the Cutting Edge” among firms protecting 50 most innovative companies in the world in trademark and copyright litigation, in IP Law & Business (Nov. 2008).
Registration
: registration, maintenance and renewal of trademarks, domain names and copyrights, in the U.S. and in foreign markets, including searches and opinions on availability of trademarks for use and registration, and copyright clearance searches. Portfolio management. Trademark prosecution in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) for U.S. and foreign clients, including handling International registrations and applications in the USPTO and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
