Overview
Megan focuses her practice on representing companies of all sizes in a broad range of corporate legal matters.
Megan’s practice has a particular emphasis on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, divestures, recapitalizations, business formation and dissolution, executive employment and equity incentive arrangements, joint ventures and general contractual matters. Megan routinely advises both domestic and international clients on matters in over a dozen countries, most frequently Canada, Mexico, India and the United Kingdom. She also counsels clients on various tax incentives, with a primary focus on Qualified Opportunity Zone investments and transactions.
Megan also serves as a legal advisor and active member of her family’s second-generation automotive manufacturing business. Prior to joining Honigman, Megan was a consultant at a Big 4 public accounting firm.
In addition to her client work, Megan works on a variety of special projects and firm committees, with a particular focus on junior attorney development and mentorship, working parents and diversity and inclusion.
