Honigman’s Barbara A. Kaye featured in webinar on legal strategies for a company’s sale

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce that Barbara A. Kaye, a Partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Department, was recently featured in a webinar entitled “Legal Strategies for Planning and Executing a Sale.” Kaye addressed the strategic considerations that can impact the success of a company sale. The webinar was sponsored by P & M Corporate Finance, LLC, an investment bank providing merger and acquisition services to companies throughout North America and Europe.

Kaye has more than 25 years of experience counseling public and private sector clients in a broad array of corporate matters with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions and financing, which includes syndicated financings, private debt payment, 144A high yield offerings and debt restructurings. Her experience includes senior and subordinate financing and domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

She has authored several publications on transactions and is a Business Law Advisory Board Member for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Kaye is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section Committee on Negotiated Acquisitions. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America from 2009 through 2012.

Kaye earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and is a member of the Order of the Coif. She earned a B.A. in Honors, with highest distinction, from the University of Michigan.
