Honigman recognized as one of “West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work for” by the Michigan Business and Professional Association

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman) is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized as one of “West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the Michigan Business & Professional Association (MBPA). According to the MBPA, “It takes a clear commitment to quality human resources initiatives for a company to be named a ‘West Michigan’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.’ ” The selected companies will be recognized on Thursday, May 5 at the Pinnacle Center in the Grand Rapids area.

The award was created to honor those companies that work with imagination and conviction to create organizational value through their human resource practices. Honigman was also named one of “Metropolitan Detroit’s Best and Brightest” in 2004 and 2010. In addition, the firm was named in 2008 and 2009 as one of the “50 Best Law Firms for Women” by Working Mother magazine and Flex-Time Lawyers, LLC.

Honigman opened its office in Kalamazoo in the fall of 2008 and has since nearly tripled in size, from 14 to 40 people. Today there are 17 attorneys, 10 professionals and 13 administrative staff members in the office. Honigman is a business law firm with an international practice. Its Kalamazoo practice focuses on life sciences; intellectual property; mergers and acquisitions; venture capital; community banking; litigation; real estate; securities and corporate law; and labor and employment.
