Honigman attorney Ann Hollenbeck named Chair-Elect of State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section
Honigman is proud to announce that Ann Hollenbeck, partner in the firm's Health Care Department, has been named as Chair-Elect of the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section for its 2007-2008 year.
Hollenbeck has served on various committees and on the Council of the Health Care Law Section since 2001, including a prior term as Council Secretary. As Chair-Elect, Hollenbeck is eligible for automatic succession to the office of Chair following her one-year term.
Hollenbeck earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, cum laude, from Butler University. She joined Honigman in 2003 after having served as Assistant General Counsel to the University of Michigan Health System and has since demonstrated her extensive experience in a variety of health care compliance, fraud/abuse, tax, and transactional issues. Hollenbeck currently resides in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The Health Care Law Section is a subdivision of the State Bar of Michigan, established by the Michigan Legislature in 1935. An organization of over 800 members, the Health Care Section strives to advocate the interests of, provide education for, and establish unity within the health care community.
