Christopher A. Ballard joins Honigman’s Trusts and Estates Department
Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman) is pleased to announce that Christopher A. Ballard has joined the firm as a Partner in its Trusts and Estates Department. He is located in Honigman’s Ann Arbor office.
Ballard concentrates his practice in estate planning, trust administration, nonprofit organizations, taxation and business planning. He counsels clients on wealth management matters, including estate and inheritance tax issues and probate administration.
Ballard has been named in Best Lawyers in America from 2007 to 2011. He is Chair of the Estates and Gift Tax Committee of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of its Taxation Section Council. Ballard is also a member of the Ann Arbor Dispute Resolution Center’s Board of Directors.
He earned a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A., with honors and distinction, in Russian and Eastern European Studies from the University of Michigan.
Ballard comes to Honigman from Bodman PLC in Ann Arbor.
