Attorney Denise J. Lewis of Honigman's Detroit Office elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers
Denise J. Lewis, a senior partner in the Real Estate Department of Detroit-based law firm Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, has been elected to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). Lewis joins five other Honigman Miller attorneys as members of ACREL.
Headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, ACREL brings together distinguished real estate attorneys from around the country to promote standards of professional and ethical responsibility. Membership in ACREL is by invitation only, and nomination is based on professional reputation and more than ten years of demonstrated ability in the field of real estate law.
Lewis is the first woman attorney and first minority attorney in Michigan elected to membership in ACREL. The election to ACREL recognizes Ms. Lewis as one of the leading real estate attorneys in the State.
The Real Estate Department at Honigman has six attorneys elected to ACREL membership, the highest number for any law firm in Michigan. The Honigman Real Estate Department also ranks among the top tier of law firms nationally in terms of the number of attorneys elected to ACREL membership.
