Kenneth T. Brooks, Litigation Attorney, Joins Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP in the Firm's Lansing Office
April 26, 2004DETROIT, April 26, 2004 – Kenneth T. Brooks has joined the Detroit-based law firm Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP as a partner in the Litigation Department in the firm's Lansing office.
Mr. Brooks concentrates his practice on general commercial law and litigation, including insurance coverage, product liability, administrative law, environmental, real estate, commercial contracts and business matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Brooks was a partner with the Lansing office of Foster, Swift, Collins & Smith, P.C. He is an arbitrator for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, a member of the Ingham County Commercial Mediation Panel and is an adjunct professor of pretrial litigation at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Brooks is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Real Property, Negligence, and Corporate Law Sections and the Ingham County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Brooks is a cum laude graduate of the Detroit College of Law, where he was the recipient of the State of Michigan Competitive Scholarship. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Michigan University.
Brooks resides in Williamston, Michigan.
