Melissa Grim joins Honigman Employee Benefits Practice Group
Honigman LLP is pleased to announce Melissa Grim has joined its Employee Benefits Practice Group as a Partner in the firm’s Chicago office. Melissa has extensive experience counseling clients on the employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, divestitures, carve-outs, restructuring and ESOP transactions. She also regularly advises clients in connection with a wide range of employee benefits matters, such the design, structuring, implementation, and ongoing administration of defined benefit and defined contribution (qualified and nonqualified) retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and other benefit and executive compensation plans and arrangements.

Grim joins Honigman from Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law, her M.B.A. from Drake University, and her B.S. from Iowa State University.
