A team of Honigman attorneys led by Phillip D. Torrence represented tronc, Inc., the parent company of the Chicago Tribune, in its acquisition of NY Daily News. This marks the media company’s entry into the top media market in the U.S. tronc is an American newspaper and online media publishing company based in Chicago. The company’s portfolio includes the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, the Orlando Sentinel, The Baltimore Sun, and The San Diego Union-Tribune.
