Honigman Adds to Litigation Practice

Press Release

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Adam M. Wenner as an associate in the firm’s Litigation department, where he will focus his practice on complex commercial litigation.

Wenner joins Honigman after serving as a law clerk to Judge Nancy G. Edmunds and Judge Julian Abele Cook, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. In addition to his experience at the district court, Wenner assisted with a panel sitting before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and previously interned for Judge Helene N. White of the Sixth Circuit.

Prior to clerking, Wenner practiced at a large international law firm, focusing on antitrust, internal investigations and class action litigation. While there, Wenner was recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and Pro Bono Counsel of the Year by the 313 Project, a nonprofit legal advocacy group serving low income individuals in the metro Detroit area.

An accomplished legal writer, Wenner also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he developed and teaches an upper-level seminar on opinion writing.

Wenner earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and his B.A., with distinction, in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
