Honigman’s Judy Calton Recognized
Judy B. Calton, a partner at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, was selected as one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Leader in the Law” for 2017, which salutes lawyers who are setting the standard for other attorneys.
In her practice, Calton counsels banks, financial institutions, manufacturers and other clients in commercial law, corporate reorganizations and transactions. She has an extensive litigation background and is experienced in Michigan, New York and Delaware bankruptcy courts.
Calton was recently named a Fellow by the American College of Bankruptcy and she currently serves as chair of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. She also received the 2015 Turnaround Atlas Award for her role in the City of Detroit bankruptcy case.
Calton earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School where she was a member of the Order of the Coif.
